I have decided to move into another username / account. My reason is fairly simple. This name i think is pretty much limited or linked into using canon products, specifically the eos product line. This is my camera now. My first ever digital slr camera. And its really great. People around me are fighting over which is No. 1, Canon or Nikon and they shun each other or fight over this thing at the forums. This rivalry is pushing the 2 big DSLR Giants into creating more and more powerful cameras, thus pushing technology forward..... hmmm, perhaps a little bit faster than when there is no rivalry or competition at all. But then, on the side of the photographers, i think it has created a closed minded attitude to some. And they love you if you hold a camera like theirs, but theyll hate you if they see you holding one built by the rival company. Prejudice is automatic. Ur nothing if u dont own a canon. The other side also tell you, ur a no-no if down use a nikon. Canon's are for noobs.And stuff like that. Phew, its my first time to try out photography and im suddenly into this kind of thing. I never knew there was something like this before i took my first dslr shot. Hehe.

Well, now that im in, i think, i will try to weight things out. If i need this or that. And i will take pictures when i want to. A good picture is a good picture - Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax, Lumix, Kodak or whatever. I will try my best to study and learn more about light. And as I get to learn new things, I will continue to present, what this world has to offer.

I am thinking of trying out other cameras. Also not only digital slr cameras, but perhaps film or point and shoot cameras also. So i will have to change username before i really start to fill up my gallery and move on with practicing and improving on my photography. And since there is no 'change username' option in deviantart, i will have to create a new account and put my stuff there. [link]

I would like to thank everybody and the community for welcoming me and helping me out. All have helped me learn lots of things in this very short span of time.
